One department, so many opportunities!
South Kamloops Secondary School boasts a thriving music department, rich in musical tradition. SKSS musicians have represented our community at the local, regional, and nationals levels for many years, with our Jazz Band and Sr. Jazz Combo ensembles receiving Gold standing at MusicFest Canada Nationals in Toronto, Ontario in 2024 and our Sr. Concert Band receiving Gold standing at regional festival, with an invitation to attend MusicFest Canada Nationals in May of 2025. SKSS musicians continue to shine as performers, all the while contributing to our community's cultural life and, at every turn, demonstrating outstanding citizenship.
